Peter Jessiman

Peter Jessiman has decades of experience within the payments/EFT industry in many capacities from financial institutions, to issuers, payment processors, merchant acquirers, and once oversaw the largest independent retailer ATM network in North America. Mr. Jessiman has co-authored payment industry white papers and has negotiated close to 100 payment contracts within his career which is why he is an oft sought-after speaker within the industry. This diversity of experience has provided him with a well-rounded perspective and extensive insights within the industry.  Peter has worked for The Wendy’s Company since 2021 as their Director of Payment Acceptance overseeing payment card acceptance, gift card program, and related third-party relationships for their global operations. Peter graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and additionally received an MBA from Texas A&M University at Commerce. Mr. Jessiman is also a member of the U.S. Payments Forum Steering Committee, as well as serves on the Board of Directors for the Merchant Advisory Group (MAG), which is the premier merchant-led retail payments trade organization in North America.
