Julie Ransom

Julie Ransom is Senior Payment Operations Manager at Ancestry, where she leads payment operations, fraud strategy, and processor relationships across the company’s global business. She keeps payments running for a business that operates across dozens of markets: bringing new countries and currencies online, lifting authorization rates, holding chargebacks at record lows, and keeping settlement and reconciliation clean across a dozen processors and partners. Along the way, she negotiates vendor and fraud-tooling contracts that sit behind all of it.

Julie joined the PaymentsEd Merchant Board in 2023 as co-chair of the marketing committee, where she reshaped how the organization tells its story and connects with the payments community. She is a recipient of the 2025 PaymentsEd Chairman’s Award.
